In the 2004 Broadway revival of “A Raisin in the Sun”, she played the role of “Lena Younger” and was awarded with a Tony and a Drama Desk award for her performance.

In 2008, she reprised her role in the TV film adaptation of the play. Her performance brought her nominations at the Screen Guild, a Primetime Emmy and a Satellite award and also won her the NAACP Image Award in 2009.

In spring 2010, she directed the play for the first time and now she would be directing it all over again, which guarantees the playhouse audience nothing, but the best of Phylicia Rashad.

I have seen stars and their starry antics, but never have I come across a star as humble as Bill Cosby.

What leaves me touched is Bill’s aim to better the society.

This is the reason I am completely besotted by his charm. His efforts in the show that made him an indelible name in the field of humor- ‘The Cosby Show’, is to lend a grin to people’s faces.
